Oil Paints

Renesans Oil Paints feature excellent color reproduction, a good sheen, and high lightfastness. They offer outstanding value for money. They are made with high-quality refined linseed oil and carefully selected European and American pigments, such as iron oxides. Renesans Oil Paints are thick, rich in pigment, and can be thinned using various painting mediums.
Oil Solid

OIL SOLID – handmade paints in bar form, made from linseed oil, natural waxes, and high-quality artist pigments. Their soft consistency and texture inspire artists around the world, bringing additional qualities to artistic practice: color, trace, texture, depth, and direct contact with the surface during the act of painting. They can be applied with a palette knife, a brush, or used to paint vigorously across the entire surface. OIL SOLID is thinned with linseed oil, oil paint mediums, or mineral solvents. They can be mixed with oil paints in tubes. They can be used to draw directly on cardboard or paper. It can also be dipped in oil stand, Fluix-type gel retarders, or alkyd media to enhance glazing or texture. Each of the 36 colors is created by combining high-quality pigments with linseed oil and selected, specially matched waxes. OIL SOLID is a high-quality oil paint in the form of a round bar, allowing you to create your own unique painting technique. When working with our OIL SOLID, nothing stands between the artist and the canvas—not even a brush—and the creative possibilities are vast. From creating preliminary sketches that can later be painted over, to creating sgraffito effects where color is applied thickly and then scraped or scratched away. At the same time, the flexibility of the OIL SOLID coating ensures a diverse and attractive creative range. The range is complemented by a colorless oil stick (BLENDING OIL SOLID), which is designed for blending individual OIL SOLID colors with traditional oil paints and for creating glazes.
Hydr-Oil

HYDR-OIL water-dilutable oil paints. Using water as a solvent eliminates the need to dilute the paint with harmful solvents typically used in oil painting, and it also eliminates the problem of unpleasant odors, which are particularly noticeable when working in enclosed and poorly ventilated spaces. An undeniable advantage is the low cost and availability of the “solvent”—all you need to do is turn on the tap. The consistency and properties are typical of oil paints, as they consist mainly of vegetable oils, which determine their physical and chromatic properties, such as: a thick and viscous consistency that retains brush or palette knife marks, intense and lightfast colors, almost all of which are opaque, excellent adhesion to all surfaces, even if they are “oily,” flexibility and irreversibility of the paint film after complete drying, and no volume shrinkage even in thick layers of applied paint. These paints dry, much like traditional oil paints, through the oxidation of certain bonds within the molecular chains. These linear chains slowly bond with one another through absorbed oxygen, forming a three-dimensional, and thus stable, structure with high light reflectivity, thereby giving the colors a bright and intense appearance typical of oil paints. It is important to remember that even if the colors feel “dry” to the touch after some time—which can range from one to six days (the time varies depending on the thickness and type of substrate)—you must wait a minimum of four to six months before applying any final varnish. Gilding Products

The gilding technique replaces pure gold at a significantly lower cost than in traditional goldsmithing, while retaining the richness, ornamentation, and splendor characteristic of genuine gold plating. Classic gilding is applied to a primer or a mixture. Gilding on pulment is called the glue or gloss technique, and involves adhering gold leaf to a primer layer, known as pulment. Gilding on mixtion, also known as oil gilding, involves adhering gold leaf to the primer using a specially prepared adhesive, known as mixtion. In both techniques, the surface was often additionally protected, and for this purpose various varnishes were used to deepen or enhance the color of the gilding.
