PAINTING PAPER FOR ACRYLIC AND WET MEDIA - 'FIRENZE' - 100% COTTON - 400 gsm - Rough - Acrylic - Grana Grossa - Grainy - Magnani 1404 - paper produced using traditional methods on cylindrical drum machines. This is one of the papers with the longest manufacturing history, containing 100% cotton, made from the purest cotton flowers without the use of acids or chlorine derivatives. It is double-sided, internally and externally sized, using a synthetic gelatin substitute, without the use of animal-derived substances. Its acid-free nature guarantees resistance to aging and UV exposure; the paper does not yellow over time and ensures the durability of the pigments used. Thanks to its strong binding, high weight, and the use of cotton in its natural form, the paper withstands corrections and paint removal exceptionally well, while also absorbing large amounts of water without warping. Recommended for painting with acrylics, watercolors, tempera, gouache, or ink.  Its warm tone and intense texture beautifully render the colors of the paints used. The paper is also suitable for watercolors as it is extremely stable even when using large amounts of water, highly resistant to mechanical abrasion, and ensures good paint flow. Watercolor paint does not wash out of it as easily as with other papers. The paper is double-sided.
