Renaissance Gouache is an easy-to-use, opaque, thick paint that forms a flexible yet water-soluble coating once dry. In addition to pigment, the gouache is made with kaolin and other raw materials, which make the paint highly soluble. The binder in our gouaches is gum arabic. They are used to create a thick, opaque layer on dry or damp paper. They can be applied using an airbrush, which allows for exceptionally saturated and smooth surfaces. Gouache also blends well with other techniques, including watercolors, pastels, drawing, and acrylics, which is why it is very popular among designers and illustrators. All gouache paints lighten and fade significantly after drying; therefore, to prevent this, auxiliary liquids are used to fix and deepen the hue of these paints.
This product range includes 26 paint colors in 20 ml tubes, as well as titanium white and black in 60 ml tubes.
