Masking powder for watercolors

Powder that can be used in two ways: apply it to paper before painting, where it works similarly to masking fluid—apply the first layer of paint immediately after applying the powder. Alternatively, sprinkle it onto a wet watercolor surface and gently rub it in.

In both cases, it creates a pleasant, irregular lifting effect due to its hydrophobic properties. Areas covered with the powder remain white, similar to masking fluid, revealing the texture of the paper. The covered areas can be easily removed with an eraser and then repainted with watercolors.
