It is a 100% cotton, acid-free paper made from the purest cotton fibers. It is bound very delicately using a synthetic gelatin substitute, without the use of animal-derived agents, which yields excellent results in fine art printing. Its acid-free nature guarantees resistance to aging. Thanks to its very delicate sizing applied only within the paper mass and the use of cotton in its natural form, it is ideally suited for printmaking techniques such as lithography, linocut, screen printing, etching, and other intaglio techniques. It is also excellent for watercolor; particularly the heavier weights can absorb large amounts of water without warping. It withstands all corrections and the removal of paint from its surface well; however, it is more difficult to wash out, but this makes it very suitable for layered painting, and additional layers can be added repeatedly. Recommended for painting with watercolors, tempera, gouache, ink, or acrylic.
