It is a paper containing 50% cotton and 50% pure cellulose, acid-free, made from the purest cotton flowers. It is very delicately sized using a synthetic gelatin substitute, without the use of animal-derived agents, only within the paper mass without external sizing, which yields excellent results in fine art printing. Its acid-free nature guarantees resistance to aging. It is precisely thanks to this very delicate binding—applied only within the mass—and the use of cotton in its natural form that it is ideally suited for graphic techniques such as lithography, linocut, screen printing, etching, and other intaglio printing techniques. It is also excellent for watercolors, as it can absorb large amounts of water without warping. It withstands corrections well and washes out easily, which requires special attention, especially when applying subsequent layers. The paint flows slightly less on it, which, however, can provide greater control over spots and streaks. It has a unique sandy, smooth texture and a slightly cool white tone.
