Professional dry watercolor blocks are produced according to traditional recipes based on gum arabic and acacia honey. Nearly the entire watercolor production process is carried out by hand to ensure the highest quality and purity of the traditional recipe. The range consists of 54 colors. Selected organic and inorganic pigments are used in their production, including genuine Polish cadmium and cobalt. This product is characterized by high solubility: the watercolors are handmade and naturally dried. Their defining feature is transparency: light passes through the paint and reflects off the paper through a layer of non-opaque watercolor paint. In its basic form, watercolor painting is an effective and “clean” way to add color to delicate pencil sketches. For many people, it is the first step in developing their practical knowledge of paints and painting. The very high quality of Renesans watercolors is confirmed by their high sales, positive reviews from many artists, and the fact that the oldest art supply store in Italy, located in Florence, is a regular customer.
